spinningrecords
Tear drop bottle finished in Cognac cask with Noe and Royers name on it and in a fancy case. I believe it had a copyright date of 1999 on the bottle tag. The prior forum posts on this label are very old and not super informative.Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what this is exactly? jburlowski
I've got a bottle bunkered. It's 18 yo Beam bourbon finished in cognac casks. Same process as the recent PHC release. In fact cognac casks are from the same source for both.
wadewood
not duty free, just about the highest price bourbon ever released at it's time. Still a few on the shelf around here.
sku
Didn't they do a series? My recollection is there was a port finished as well.

JohnHansell
I worked my way through both bottles. I like the second release (Port Wood) better. I thought it was a very nice whiskey. A whiskey that was way ahead of its time.

Josh
No, I think it was in the neighborhood of $150-$200.
