wadewood
The S.O.B bourbon label is owned by this company - http://www.terressentia.com/terrepure Their story:TerrePURE is the name of our patented, revolutionary technology which cleans and refines spirits, using a completely natural process, after the standard distillation process is over. It does this by using ultrasonic energy-driven oxidation to complete reactions that fail to complete during the primary distillation, and avoids the time-consuming and inefficient processes of filtration, re-distillation, or barrel aging. Trey Manthey
What I gather is that they want to replace barrel aging with a master blender who will infuse the spirit with artificial flavors, giving them "the unique ability to produce the world’s best tasting flavored vodkas, rums, tequilas, and more."Interesting how whiskey was left out of that statement. sku
From what I've read, Terrepure is a bottler only and doesn't distill. They also seem to only do private bottlings for restaurants, bars and others who want their own spirits. They've registered a lot of COLAs. Restaurant man
I've been enjoying terrepure whiskies for years. They age while I am microwaving my popcorn. In fact i have some terrepure duststies that have been discontinued since yesterday. I'm accepting trade offers for PVW15
