I have just received information that local photographer Leon Howlett will have a book signing for his new book, "The Kentucky Bourbon Experience" at True Kentucky in Glendale, Ky on 4/28 from 6-9pm. The book is described as "A Visual Tour of Kentucky's Bourbon Distilleries." Knowing Leon, this should be a high quality pictorial collection of the distilleries and their products. I suspect this is something that many of you might be interested in. I certainly intend to get a copy. In case you are wondering, Glendale is about 25 miles west of Bardstown and is a small-town antique and restaurant center. It is particularly well known for its "Whistle Stop" restaurant.

That sounds like a great idea unforchantly that is right when we are having our cook out at the GN.

I just spoke with Leon and he will actually be available the Thursday and Friday prior to the Sampler at True Kentucky in Glendale to sign copies if anyone is interested. He also told me response from the industry has been terrific and it is already available in several of the gift shops of the various distilleries. It is a 192 page coffee table quality book with beautiful photography designed to show the bourbon industry in the best light possible.

How much are these books? I'm very interested.

As I understand it, the books are $39.95 each.
