spinningrecords
Does anyone have any recommendations for purveyors of fine spirits in Louisville? A place in Louisville.downtown is preferred but any suggestions are welcome. I need a couple of good stops for an upcoming trip.

barturtle
I believe you are actually looking for a package store, as opposed to a bar?
Kyjd75
For package stores try Party Mart on Brownsboro Road.
spinningrecords
I believe you are actually looking for a package store, as opposed to a bar?Yes. Packaged liquor. I wasn't completely clear in my initial post. Although the bar recommendations are welcome too.
TheDude
Some of the better ones--Westport Wine and Whiskey, Old Town Liquors, Top Hat Liquors and of course there are three Liquor Barn locations in town. I frequent the first three because they are independent retailers, have a good selection and can answer any questions you have before you buy. In fact, Westport usually has an open bottle of most of the brands they have on the shelf. They will let you sample it before you buy.
