cowdery
Okay, it's official. Bourbon is now too popular. Had to try really hard to be polite in a bar last night when people tried to push this crap on me, telling me it's a new bourbon. They wanted me to include it in a whiskey tasting. I resorted to telling old Sidney Frank stories. ("after he sold Grey Goose for $2B, he paid golf pros to play golf while he watched, because he was to infirm to play himself.") That always clears the room.Tried some. It tasted like straight honey.
BourbonJoe
Barenjaeger (german for bear hunter) is IMO far from crap. It is made (for centuries) in Germany from honey and is delicious. It's not meant for crotchety Irishmen.Joe :usflag:
callmeox
So Barenjager has entered he honey and bourbon space?Sounds as dreadful as the rest of the honey/bourbon combos.Who is left? Perhaps Luden's or Hall's can cook up a honey/bourbon cough drop? Bob Evans will offer honeyed bourbon with their biscuits?
