This is probably a long shot, but does anyone know whether Old Forester Birthday Bourbon is available in Las Vegas? Or maybe some BT or Van Winkle bottlings? I have a friend out there now, and he's offered to be my bourbon importer when he comes back to Virginia. He's staying at the Stardust, so any liquor store (if any) close to that area would be great.

ORVW has a distributor in LV, so the stores there can stock it or special order it.

The Strip has a serious lack of bourbon selection, at least if you're on foot. Last summer Maker's Mark was the highest-end I could find, and a 375ml bottle was in the neighborhood of $25.

The number on the web site is my wholsaler in Las Vegas.Any store can order fom them.

Lee's Discount Liquors has several locations in Vegas, so I would try them.

Hey Julian--do any of the Las Vegas properties keep your products in their main line? I saw a special on Discovery where they showed the automated spirits lines with hundreds of inverted liquor bottles connected to a pressurized central network.

The thought of your products in that setup seems incredibly appetizing somehow! Van Winkle on tap!

I live here in Las Vegas. Lee's has the broadest selections. The Las Vegas Wine Company has the best prices. I have not seen OFBB here (so paid a lot to get it shipped from Sam's). The VW line is available. I think Lee's even has the 23yo, but prices are not a bargain. I'm pretty good friends with one of the Lee's store managers and one from LVWC too, so I might be able to help your friend out.
