DPPSmoker
Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me with some info that I can't find. Does Four Roses have a gift shop at their bottling and warehouse facility?
TomH
yes...not sure what else needs to be said, but the editor wouldn't let me post a one word response
DPPSmoker
Thank you Tom. My brother lives in Bowling Green KY and will be visiting me in two weeks. I'm hoping he can stop by the gift shop for me as it is only a few miles off I-65.
theglobalguy
Any idea what the shop carries? I've been to the main facility (Lawrenceburg, KY) and didn't manage to find anything rare or exotic.
cigarnv
Not sure if they have any new gift shop only expressions at this time. They tend to sell out very quickly..

steeltownbbq
Lawrenceburg - the usual glassware, shirts, coasters etc. The same whiskey you can buy at the store, at higher pricesCox Creek - no gift shop per se, just some shirts, glasses and other swag for sale in the office
Young Blacksmith
Unless you happen to be there when they have a Gift Shop only bottling for sale. I picked up two in December, bottling 3, a 16 year old SB. I know others have picked up some recently too. If Lawrenceburg sells out of the bottles, Cox Creek won't have any as they move the stock there.
DPPSmoker
Thanks for all of the nice comments guys. I may try calling both Four Roses gift shops to see if they are selling any special bottles. If the Cox's Creek location doesn't have any bottles while the Lawrenceburg location does, I will ask if they can ship any to the Cox's Creek location in time for my brother to pick it up. The worst thing they can do is tell me no.
StraightNoChaser
I just finished that bottle the other night. Damn LE 4R, I drink it too fast! Mental note: Buy multiples!

atfree
I just had my first bourbon distillery tour(s) this weekend at Four Roses and Wild Turkey. I picked up a bottle of the OBSV 17yr SB in the gift shop. Based on tasting notes I've read for this 17yr, it won't be long before I crack this bottle open to begin enjoying it.Mine was bottled in June 2012, and is barrel #78-35 (barrel #10 of the series) at 111.4 proof. I'm not sure how often they bottle these, but they're running low of the current barrel release. There were 3 bottles remaining when I left.
