rutterb
Saw a few bottles on the shelf today, 120th anniv, 40th anniv, 2009 marriage, and single barrel/small batch le's. Question is, I was leaning towards the 40th anniv (17 yr), but just wasn't sure. Anyone have a take?

Young Blacksmith
None of them will be bad, just go for what you think you might enjoy and your budget allows.
White Dog
2009 Mariage just so you can trade it to one of the many Mariage junkies.

dridge11
That's like trying to decide which Lamborghini to drive today...there are no bad choices. 09 Marriage is a tasty one, as is the 2012 Single Barrel LE, but both very different. I've not had the pleasure of trying the others, but I do have the 2012 SMB LE and given what I've read about it, I think it's going to be right up my alley. Josh
I wish I could find one of the Marriage bottle but based on Josh's comment I am guess that is why I cannot find it in the Metro Detroit area.Best regards, Tony
Tony
Don't blame me, blame the LCC! It was never sold here. I don't even think Four Roses was even sold in the state in 2009.You're welcome to have as much as you want any time you stop by the RO.
nivto
I would not hesitate to grab the Mariage over the others.
MyOldKyDram
What SmB LEs? I'd grab the current year without hesitation if it was available.
Phil T
I would definitely pick up the Mariage. Even though I figure I have a 10yr supply, I would absolutely buy more if I found it.

squire
My choice of the bunch is the Small batch expression, it just has a balance that appeals to me.
BourbonShill
I'll have to look for a marriage, out of the selections that aren't barrel strength what is everyone's favorite?
Kalessin
I'm a big fan of the ordinary Small Batch (~$31/btl in Massachusetts) as a regular anyday pour. Great stuff.I like the Yellow Label in summertime, affordable, pleasant and easy over ice.
