Tico
Young's always seems to be last week of November to first week of December for pappy/BTAC. So cal does seem to hit a few days earlier than nor cal, not sure why.
jeanraulmitchell
I saw a few bottles of Stagg & ER at Mission but I think they are of last year. I say, I think, because I didn't take time to look because I saw a bold $149 on the tag. I wonder why it takes so much longer for the BTAC to go out in CA. I secured some of what I want when I visited the east coast and that was the first week of October.
RVTsteve
Yeah, I got some back East at the end of September, but could only get my hands on GTS and ER17 but have been diligently checking and patiently waiting for anything exciting out here. Kind of on topic K&L put out a recent blog about CA and the state of spirits here.

MrAtomic
No sign of it in Santa Barbara. One local store manager told me he'd expected it in early November, and didn't have any explanation for the delay. This may be the first year where I just don't bother with BTAC. Running around, putting my name on sign-up lists and trying to fend off guys who want to buy a store's entire shipment, sight-unseen -- it's no fun and makes me feel a little silly. brritscold
It seems like it's arrived in LA... I put my name down on a list at a store in Pasadena and got a call yesterday that the bottle I wanted had arrived. If you guys haven't heard, definitely try asking around at your local stores. Also, not to sidetrack too much, but it's kind of funny how the regular (not limited edition) Four Roses small batch is harder to find now. Maybe all the attention lavished on the 2012 limited edition reflected some of the glory onto its regular and still glorious sibling
jeanraulmitchell
In LA and surrounding areas, I think the corporate stores have it(bristol farms, bevmo but not all...), my guess is along with bars & restaurants. It will be next week before it hits the smaller shops depending on what day the distributor delivers to each individual shop, not sure if it's all the same day or not. I know it didn't reach the shelf at any of the bevmos I've visited and there are a few that haven't gotten it or haven't put it out or are going with a list or some other way to distinguish certain customers. At least, that's what I hear. I've seen it in Pasadena and an hour east of LA but not in LA yet.
