One of my friends found out I have a collection and is desperately trying to help her boyfriend get her dad a bottle for his 50th birthday. Trying to be a nice guy and sending at cost, however don't want her to be tacked on w/ fines or have the bottle confiscated. What is the best way to ship a bottle to someone in another state, fedex and not disclose??

There are a few lengthy threads here on SB regarding shipping preferences and appropriate packing techniques if you do a search. It's against the law in most states, to my knowledge, but that doesn't mean people don't do it.

Yeah there are threads about this. I've heard people do it. In fact a friend of a friend did it this fall when he flew back East and found some BTAC. He bought it and shipped it to himself through UPS and just said it was fragile, full of bottles of his mom's homemade hot sauces or something. He sent a handful of bottles and said it cost him a pretty penny.

Actually, you don't have to do much of a search - a number of

them are listed below under "Similar Threads" (a feature I love.)
