Attention CA members: your local BevMo may soon be getting GTS, WLW, THH and Lot B

I frequently check online inventory for my local BevMo, and they now have these bottles listed, though they do show 'Out of Stock.' I called the store and they told me if these items popped in their system then some stores will be receiving them.

$79.99 on the BTAC (not bad) and $52.99 on the Lot B. I also noticed Baby Saz listed for the first time.

Your best bet is probably to check the online inventory of your local spot(s) daily.

thats funny to see that ER17 isnt on there. It was on the website for the last 2 months but was taken down a week or so ago.

Luckily another local big liquor store like bevmo got their shipment this morning.

I picked up pvw20, pvw 15, VWFRR, GTS, and WLW this morning at 9, I just walked in 10 minutes after the store opened and asked, no line or anything. they were sold out by 2pm of everything but 10yr and 12yr van winkle though.

EDIT: After I posted that ER17 is available again on there

This seems to be highly variable. I went by a joint late tonight, they said they hadn't gotten anything in yet, and my boy V went to another and they had a "waiting list," which is BULLSHIT cuz BevMo doesn't do waiting lists....there's a LOT of nonsense going on this year.

God, I hate the Fall Releases....but I love the juice!

Glad u don't live in Georgia bro. No offence meant but a PM will always mean your message doesn't go to the lurkers/flippers. Of course flipping is a lot harder now without "the site"

Agreed! It's hard enough for everyone here to find the "hard to find". I know you mean well, but don't just throw that info out there for every lurker/flipper to find!!

I've never understood why bevmo doesn't carry WLW, Saz 18, ORVW and VWFRR

they carry everything else, why not these?

The BevMo in Valencia had a bottle of ER17 earlier today. I've seen Thomas Handy bottles in the South Bay. Youngs Market should be pushing everything out very soon.

sorry all, let me clarify, the guy at the store said he had received one of each of the BTAC. I got there at 8 at night and he still had the ER17, WLW, and THH. He specifically said that he sold a Stagg and a Saz 18. I did not see it with my own eyes.

I do know where a WLW sat last night, but I dont know if its still there or not

FYI they were mysteriously gone off the website today and deleted from my "bevmo shopping list" too. I got the scoop from my local store, pm me if you want to know what they told me.

Nothing wrong with asking, but I always advise going to the "New to StraightBourbon" forum and introducing yourself first. You might find people are a bit more friendly when they know who you are.

The holiday shoppers are out with a desire to spend. Saw a guy in my local trying to decide between Blantons and Rock Hill Farms. Trying to be helpful I asked if he had tried either one. He shrugged and said, "think I'll go with this one, I like the pewter horse" so I politely moved on.

Apparently, this thread tipped off some lurker who posted his find over on Reddit. He took the entire allocation of an LA BevMo.

"Luckily, I got a tip from straightbourbon.com that BevMos in the LA area were getting very limited allotments of PVW and BTAC, so I called a bunch of this last minute. Finally, I got through to a manager of one BevMo store who knew exactly what I was talking about and told me that there was a shipment coming in that same day (yesterday) with PVW 15, Stagg, Weller, and Handy. One bottle of each, that's all they were getting, and if I wanted them he would put them aside when the truck arrived."

It's not unusual to find 2 or 3 bottles of Handy in any Phoenix-area BevMo. You will also see the occasional Stagg. I've never seen any of the other BTAC's.

I just checked, according to the website, the BevMo in Tempe has 19 bottles of Handy and one Eagle 17.

They've come and gone here in the Bay Area. snooze ya lose I guess, I had heard how crazy it gets but seeing and hearing about it from retailers is something else

I missed out on my nearest Bevmo this morning to some jokers who were waiting an hour before the store opened to scoop up the delivery as it came off the truck and get all the BTAC and whatever VW stuff came in. thems the brakes I guess, but I honestly don't envy them for having to do that

I did manage to get a Saz 18 yesterday, tastes mighty fine.

Also I can't get over how little the employees and managers know about this stuff.

It's over in LA. They came and went in 1 day. Driscoll was right, Cali is a hunter's nightmare.

All I wanted was 1 Saz for and 1 for my Dad......damn lurkers.

I can't just blame the lurkers. Folks have got to be smarter about plastering the locations of stores with inventory all over this board...
