unclebunk
Just picked up a 1.75L of age stated OWA. Looking forward to trying some of the SB blend!I think you'll like it but you may have to make adjustments to your personal tastes until you hit the sweet spot. I started with 50/50 but am closer to 60/40 (OWA/Weller 12) at this point because I enjoy the extra heat. See what you come up with. With a 1.75L bottle of OWA you've got plenty of time to experiment.

smknjoe
Same thing happened to me today and it was cheaper than what I paid around Christmas. Some OGD and ETL tagged along for the ride.

tanstaafl2
Picked up a 2003 EWSB barrel #37 today in addition to the Whisper Creek Cream liqueur. Will likely break into the Whisper Creek tonight with a bit of Baileys for comparison. I am told it is a bit more "fruity" rather like Amarula so we shall see. Also picked up a couple of rums and the special order of Excellia anejo tequila that I had been wanting to try for awhile now. The Excellia is aged in Sauternes cask and it has a somewhat peculiar greenish tint to it although it doesn't show up well in the picture. Thought it might also be interesting to compare it to the Sauternes finished Glenmorangie Nectar d'or.
Clavius
I bought a bottle each of Weller 12 and Old Weller Antique to try out the SB Blend. Used an empty Old Rip bottle to put it all in. I tried it a moment ago and found it to be very good. Looking forward to trying it again in a week or so.

bingstein
I bought an Old Charter 8 Year with an older label today on my first dusty trip. Turns out I didn't really know exactly what to look for, but I did pick this one up. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how old the one I bought was. I know it can't be too old because it has the warning label on it. It does faintly say "95" on a stamp and "SG" on the bottle itself. I know there is another post out there about this bourbon somewhere so I apologize if it is repetitive. I was just excited about a very small find and am not too sure what I have. I figured I could turn to the nice folks here to help. Thanks a million.

MyOldKyDram
I think that's a Sazerac UPC, so it wouldn't be any older than 1999 I believe. Someone will certainly correct me if I'm wrong.

OscarV
I love cyber shopping, a few clicks of the mouse and then a knock on the door. Here's what I got today. They are the new label design on the export bottles. All 700ml, 12yo and 8yo not available here in the USA. The 81 proof is but the label is different, no 81 on the lower left just on the neck strip.
