LostBottle
Found some semi-dusty bottles while traveling. The Classic Cask is a 22 year rye bottled in 2004 ($60). Never heard of it, but seemed like it was worth a shot. The WTKS is a dark smooth top bottled in September of 2003.I agree with Brent, I would also have paid double what you did for the CC22. The stuff was bottled by KBD and is probably Medley rye from the same set of Barrels as the Hirsch 22. I have never tasted it, but would fully expect it to be phenomenal rye. c2walker
I agree with Brent, I would also have paid double what you did for the CC22.I can't say for sure what the suggested retail price was on these old CC ryes, but I've seen the CC 21 at three different stores in three different parts of the country priced between $100-130. Meruck
Grabbed a bottle of very special old fitz today. Truly neither, HH product. It's good, as are many others in the same $$ range.
portugieser
First trip to The Party Source was yesterday - what a great place. Grabbed Ancient Ancient Age 10 year and Evan Williams 2003 SB. Would have walked away with far more but tried to restrain myself given some recent large purchases.
squire
Can't have too much AAA 10 year, I'm surprised that one is still around given the current trend toward dropping age statements.
BlackPrairie
Picked up a bottle of Whipper Snapper after curiosity killed me and VSOF. I left behind the current and last year's PHC a couple weeks ago and hoped I'd be able to stock up this trip... Silly me.
higgins
Thought that I was going to get some Weller 12 today, but no such luck. I still had a pretty productive shopping trip, though.

AaronWF
Picked up a bottle of Whipper Snapper after curiosity killed me*Shudder*. That stuff's nasty. I've had a bottle open for going on two years now and I haven't managed to life more than an inch or two off the top. I guess it needs a revisiting at this point... Had a bottle last September and found it revolting. But a friend went through it fast enough.

icehocey77
Stumbled upon a 2012 WLW and Saz18. Left behind 3 THHs and 1 ER17. Might go back for the ER.I was amazed the WLW was around $60 and the Saz around $65, but the other two were 70+? SFS
I'd go back for the ER17 for sure.I bought what I hope is a mid-shelf offering at the bottom shelf price of $10.99/ 750 mL. Evan Williams 1783.

smknjoe
Blenhiem original is good stuff. Special order around here. Now I know what to do with the rest of the Charter 12yr. Classic 90. Thanks bing!
unclebunk
Okay. Got my first bottle of Larceny today because it's snowing like hell out there and I needed a nice warmer to keep my spirits up after the fifth time I went out to shovel. I really like this stuff and can't believe it was only $22 on sale. Great deal! No luck though finding the Michter's Original Sour Mash and the OGD 114 was out of stock. Bummer! Thanks bing!I have to get mine from Fresh Market for (GASP) $9 for a six pack, but it is totally worth it, especially the red cap very spicy one. smknjoe
The red cap is what I call "original". Don't know if it really is. I think they call it "hot" and the other "not so hot." You can order a case from their website for $24 before shipping.

bingstein
Hot damn! I didn't even know they carried it. I'll gladly pay that price and soon!As seems to be the case in Kentucky, both with bourbon and ginger ale, the supply was limited and I got the last 6 pack of the red caps. They have the original though, and I could probably spare one of mine. And unlike bourbon, they will be certain to get more in soon.
