Okay, what did everyone receive?

I got a JPS18 batch 13. I am a bit of a numbers nerd, at a business with employees present and past numbering well over 100, I am employee #13, so the batch number was cool.

No bottle, but my wife had a shirt made for me that reads:

Whiskirexia Nervosa:

A whiskey buying disorder characterized by a distorted

whiskey inventory image and an obsessive fear of running out of

WHISKEY

I posted a picture last night of all my presents from myself and others in the purchase section. My girlfriend got me a Jefferson's 17 and a 2012 Handy. The day isn't over though. I could be surprised later.

I know Armageddon is near if my wife ever buys me any bourbon for Christmas. She thinks I have too much already and she doesn't even know the half of it.

My daughter, the Brooklynite, got me a bottle of New York's Hudson Baby Bourbon Whiskey for Christmas.

It was great having her home for the past week.

I got a couple Four Roses private selections, and some Glencairns to take care of the last year's attrition. Merry Christmas everyone!

No bourbon, but my sister and her boyfriend got me a bottle of that Chicago favorite, Malort.

Strangely enough, I had a feeling that this may make a showing.

Of course, since this is the season of sharing, I did say that they are all welcome to it.

Perhaps if she drank the half of it, as mine does, she would be open to buying more. Sometimes I feel like the kid who bought his mom a football for Christmas. Then discovered that she loved it and kept for herself. Merry Christmas anyway.

No bourbon, but my wedding / Christmas present from my parents was a big green egg. I'm sure it will only enhance my bourbon drinking.

Got a bottle of Lag 16 from my BIL and a bottle of Dry Fly Washington Wheat from my sister in Washington. She tried to find their bourbon but there was none to be had. Still a nice bottle that you won't find in Hawaii. Also got a copy of the whiskey bible from the wife. Merry Christmas everyone.

Vintage 23 Rye from my brother, by way of Singapore. That bottle's been around the world and back, but it's found its forever home now.

That bottle must have cost a fortune! Singapore liquor prices are criminal by American standards.

WTRB from my sister, which I found ironic since I had my wife use a cup from an open WTRB to make bourbon meatballs last night. Also a Glencairn Celtic monogrammed glass and 101 Whiskies to Try Before You Die

The BGE was a nice gift. Reading your post makes me think about outdoor cooking in the summer while smoking a cigar and enjoying a pour. My BIL gave me a bottle of Willett Pot Still Reserve, the bottle will look really nice on my bar. Merry Christmas to all.
