atfree
My lovely wife surprised me with a bottle of ORVW 10/107. I do mean surprised, too, as I never would have imagined her buying me bourbon with all the complaints I get on the size of my current collection. Ejmharris
Not Bourbon, but my brother got me a bottle if Green Spot Irish Whiskey. Really really great whiskey. He had to have it shipped in from the UK, I hate to think what the shipping charge was on that. Mike

Bourserker
Willett 21 year old single barrel (barrel 3708 at 102 proof) from my parents. I don't know that it's at barrel strength at that low of proof, but it appears not to have been filtered in any way (there's some small barrel char pieces on the bottom at the bottle). Smithford
That bottle must have cost a fortune! Singapore liquor prices are criminal by American standards. Yes, he would have paid a pretty penny for that. But he's over there making a bunch of money and paying almost no tax, so he'll live. Plus, he knows I'll share it with him once I open it. Smokewagon
Eggcellent gift. Enjoy! No bourbon, but my wedding / Christmas present from my parents was a big green egg. I'm sure it will only enhance my bourbon drinking. That is a great gift. My brother has The Green Egg and my My father has a Primo (Similar, just different shape). They are wonderful and will encourage the drinking of bourbon for sure. They make the best smoked/bbq meats. They are also awesome for pizza and bread.~SW
smokinjoe
Got a Baker's miniature from my wife. 31st straight year she's dropped a whiskey mini in my stocking. Also, received a bottle of the Woodford Four Wood, which I am finding to be a very nice pour. It seems with each passing year, the cantaloupe rind taste of the Woodford pot still is reduced in the Master's Collection bottlings. Reduced, or covered up. Not sure which. I don't mind it, but I think it's reduction makes this whiskey more approachable to those who dislike it. Related gifts were the Cecil Bourbon book, and a sampler box of the Blanton's Cigars. One more Christmas event to go to this weekend at my brothers. Hopefully, some goodies from them, as well!

HighHorse
sailor - if you need any help getting those bourbons out of the house .. I'll be happy to throw in the steaks! Last time I was over we took a picture of 21 pours on the table that we had worked our way through. PS - That's why I keep most of my stash at the office! PaulO
I had heard a story on the radio, that some grocery stores were increasing their effort to sell liquor. I was shopping for Christmas, and noticed my usual grocery store started carrying; Four Roses single barrel, Knob single barrel, Bulleit Rye, and some others (well cheaper than anywhere in town). I didn't think anyone was going to give me bourbon for a present, so I had to be proactive
