I saw that there was a new bourbon from Medley coming down the pipelines. I tried searching but couldn't find much here so is this really the old Medley distilled juice that people hunt for?

I understand that Angostura purchased the Medley Distillery in 2009 but before that was it the Glenmore/United/Diageo succession? Does anybody have a good educated guess as to what might be in this bottle?

Naw. That would be in my guess 12 year old distilled at Bernheim. Medley had been shut down since around 1990 I think.

It occurs to me that it might be the same stuff Luxco is selling as Ezra Brooks 12-year-old. It's definitely not new juice from CMDK, which would be tough since the distillery doesn't have a boiler nor any fermenters. I'm not sure about the stills, but I think the cookers are okay. It's for sale, by the way, and has been for several years, which tells me there's something scaring people away, although it could just be an unrealistic asking price.
