TIME magazine is the latest to do a story on bourbon.

As usual they quote Julian Van Winkle III and comment on the price of his bourbon.

I love the part about Rowans Creek being made by a small distillery in Kentucky. These guys don't do much research it seems.

Yeah, the Rowans Creek reference made me laugh.

Bourbon is 'trendy" now and over the last couple of years news outlets and other entertainment & consumer media have been doing a lot of stories about bourbon.

And they always go to JVW III, it's why you can't not only get Pappy anymore but Old Rip as well.

Thanks for sharing, interesting read. I know I should have skipped the scotch thing and gotten into bourbon much earlier. For me I do not see stopping until they put me in the ground and I hope my sons will do a toast to me as I go in.

Best regards, Tony

I'd like to say we've seen hundreds of stories about bourbon and rye in the last couple of years, but what we've actually seen is the same story hundreds of times.

I think it's very educational. I wonder who Julian's grandfather :crazy:used as inspiration when he created the "pappy van winkle label"
