FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Elmer T. Lee shares insights on more than five decades in the bourbon industry

FRANKLIN COUNTY – As Master Distiller Emeritus, Elmer T. Lee, celebrates his 84th birthday, Buffalo Trace Distillery is proud to release on video CD a specially commissioned personal interview with this bourbon legend.

Kentucky’s tradition of producing fine whiskies spans more than two centuries. Yet, few can claim to have been a part of the proud heritage as uniquely – or as long as – Elmer T. Lee. With more than 50 years experience in handcrafting Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey at the same distillery and a bourbon named after him, Lee is a true legend in the field.

This video CD interview captures Lee’s passion for making fine distilled spirits as well as insights, memories and career highlights that span more than five decades. Lee discusses every step of the bourbon making process from grain selection, to aging, to the future of the industry. To listen to excerpts visit http://www.buffalotrace.com/elmer.html or for a copy of the CD please e-mail us at greatbourbon@buffalotrace.com
