cowdery
It's the end of the world. What's the last thing you want to drink before you die? It has to be something you have in your bunker now because, "of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." Wryguy
Gotta crack my Lagavulin 30, just to know what it tastes like before I go. I would happily trade places with edo though. Would have gone rye, but I like the idea of fire and brimstone being greeted by peat and smoke from my final glass. If I have time I'll move on to the very last of my Longrow 7 Barolo finish, before approaching a CS BlackAdder Bowmore 14.
unclebunk
I'm hitting my last bottle of :bowdown:Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye from the initial release (before they started adding letters to the bottle numbers.) ... Probably have to share it with my wife :icon_pidu:, ... so then on to the Old Rip Rye from the same era. Doubt I'll have to share much of that one :drinking:. Finally, one of my Blanton's Straight from the Barrel (if I can still reach for it :deadhorse:.)
unclebunk
So many choices and my picks may change within the next five minutes but I think I'd go out with Pappy 15, something from WT (either CGF or 12 year old split label) and some Lagavulin 16. Damn. I forgot the Four Roses. And what about some rye? And a few beers? Edited February 6, 2013 by unclebunk

Yeti
I'll grab a 1970 Bowmore and 1981 Brora before I hit the road. What the hell, right? Might as well drink our way out of here. Just don't tell Chuck we're breaking the rules :-)This does remind me that I am going to have to drink these treasures some day...
TomH
Since it's the last day, I'll pour Compass Box The Last Vatted Malt....I bought my first bottle because I could pass up the jab at the SWA and discovered that it was an exception blended malt....and if I have time for a 2nd pour, I'll crack open Compass Box The Last Vatted Grain.I'm staying away from my smokey Islay's....figure if it is the Apocalypse there might be a lot of smoke in my future ! smokinjoe
Just to cover my bases, I'm going to first sip on the Angel's Envy. :pope:Then, I guess I'll open the Maker's Mark VIP bottle that I had made up when my daughter was born, and is sealed with instructions to not open until her 21st birthday in 2019. Any chance we could delay this Apocalypse thing until then? Of course, as she is entering her teen years now, I seem to live an Apocalyse in the house every day...

RT Fan
Providing that my wife is with me for the end of the world, it would be Champagne. My wife doesn't care for brown liquor. If I'm alone, I'll drink the last of my S/W Van Winkle 20 year. Or maybe the Stagg, might want to go out with a bang.
