Yeti
I think once the impacts start and the fires spread that Stagg and a straw should get you properly anesthetized.
higgins
If we're wanting maximum intake before the end, I'm going with OGD 114. No need for a straw with that wide-mouth bottle.
jcg9779
Probably some VOF to start. Then some 2007 WLW, then FR 2009 Mariage. That should do the trick.
Dolph Lundgren
I've got a bottle of 25yr old Willett Family Reserve Rye and Balvenie Tun 1401 (batch 3) that I've been saving for the coming asteroid/plague/nuke war/environmental collapse/alien invasion... Clavius
OGD114. A couple pours of it and I wouldn't care too much about the world ending!
thiemb
Definitely something from Heaven Hill - probably PHC '12.I've also got a bottle of JPS17 Batch#1 that I've been saving, so that'll get opened too.

Yeti
It's a unique man who will be driving to Bardstown, Lawrenceburg, and Frankfort to loot during the end time.
MauiSon
Subtle suggestion to just 'do it' because the world as we know it IS ending right now and right now and right now . . . The present is constantly being annihilated, so I guess I'd be eating and drinking and doing whatever I'm already eating and drinking and doing. tanstaafl2
Well I haven't tried it yet but it might have to be the recently acquired Barry Crockett Legacy Irish Whiskey. If that fails me I still have some cask strength Angels Envy and a plethora of PVW/BTAC options to fall back on. Probably the WLW would be the first choice among those. And their is always lots of rum and tequila! The JM Rhum 1994 comes to mind first.I am getting a little buzz just thinking about it!Besides, I've always wanted to meet my ancestor Satan and shake him by the tail... WAINWRIGHT
The end of ends,I am going on a full on rye roll vertical from hell of VWFRR,Ritt23,ABCS#2 and BMH23,might as well go out in style!
Ejmharris
Following the guidelines, one and only one, VWFRR. Mike
HighInTheMtns
Honestly maybe some ORVW10/107 or maybe whatever IPA is in my fridge. Not the nicest bottle I have but I think it'd be the one.
Cigar Dan
Most likely the GTS '12, but possibly the HP18 (if I wanted a single malt). The 2012 isn't the best Stagg that I've ever had, but it is the only one currently in my possession. The HP18 has a special place in my heart, so I'd give that some serious consideration. Restaurant man
This is a fitting thread because my wife has accussed me of "bourbon doomsday prepping" on more than one occasion I've got a Very Old Fitzgerald I'll be cracking for the occasion and I'll be tasting (guzzling?) it along side the 107 proof 23 year old rip (decanter). It's been nice knowing you fellas (and ladies) :pope:
unclebunk
Friends welcome, unclebunk. But for you that flight out of O'Hare is gonna be bumpy. United isn't likely to be able to fly above the fire and brimstone hailstorm, and the best you'll get on the way over is Jim Beam Black, ...till they run out, ... after about 35 minutes under the circumstances.p.s. I don't thinks the single malts would follow the VWFRR very well. I once flew on a little puddle jumper from Albany, NY back to NYC and every 30 seconds or so for a period of about 45 minutes was like hitting a speedbump going 50 mph due to the extreme turbulence. To prevent myself from shitting my underwear, I drank every beer she had to calm my nerves (they didn't have any booze on hand). And it was BUDWEISER! Talk about the end of the world! unclebunk
The HP18 has a special place in my heart, so I'd give that some serious consideration.I debated on going with the Lag 16 or HP18. Both are fantastic, and I've been to Orkney and consumed it at the source with a dear Scottish friend, so it's special to me too. Aw, shit. Just give me both!
