wadewood
1st of fight club is never discuss what actual market value of anything is with a liquor store owner. If something is under priced quietly buy 2-3 bottles, then go back and week or two later and do the same and continue until you have bought it all. If something is overpriced, politely offer less with no discussion - if rejected walk away without saying anything. Go back at another time with different employee working and ask again. Special Reserve
I know that process well even in a control state.

callmeox
The control state laws in MI set a minimum price on items as long as they are on the price book.On past forays into the state for hunting I was able to negotiate a lower price on items that had been delisted. I've also read of successes here where the stickered price was well above the listed price and was purchased closer to the listed amount.
