Variable
If you like the Weller 12 Year, you'll love Larceny. I'll try and find a bottle over the weekend. Never seen it in my area of South Florida though, so I might have to hunt for it at several smaller stores to see if it is available. Thanks for the suggestion! BB Slim
I haven't been able to find Larceny anywhere in Florida. You can get it online but will pay on average a $17 shipping charge. My local ABC store here in Daytona is supposed to be checking to see if they can order it for me. I'll let you know what they tell me.
JPBoston
If you like the Weller 12 Year, you'll love Larceny. It's a bolder expression with a similar profile. Weller 12 is actually a bit refined for my palate most evenings. Don't get me wrong, it's very nice bourbon, just a bit 'mild' to me. The bold edge on Old Weller Antique 107 is more in my wheelhouse. But, hey; try 'em all! On some occasions I like the Weller 12 very well, depends on my mood, I guess. The main thing is ENJOY your drams! ... And, Have Fun! Agree very strongly with your take on Weller 12 vs OWA. As for the question at hand, my advice would be what to avoid as opposed to what to get because they're so many good bourbons out there. I'd avoid Jim Beam white and black, there's a world of better stuff available at their price points. Edited April 23, 2013 by JPBoston
