OneCubeOnly
Okay, here's a question for the bourbon gurus--thanks to you guys, this'll be the first year where I'm actually at least semi-aware about how the whole Old Forester Birthday Bourbon thing works. My question is this: the bourbons come out on the distiller's birthday (Sept. 4th is it?)...so does that mean the stores actually HAVE the bourbon beforehand and allow it go on SALE on the 4th, (similar to bookstores and software stores with release dates), or does it start TRICKLING OUT to the stores on the 4th (in which case I wouldn't see it in the DC area until a couple weeks later)? Thanks!
bourbonmed
It trickles out on Sept. 2. KY gets it first, all the more reason to attend fest.
