Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Is there any "youngness" to it?

Any hints of caramel and/or toffee?

1 and 1/2 sittings really...

I'm really not very good with tasting notes but the flavor I caught the most was reb berries, maybe a little caramel, no toffee. It did not seem overly young but had a fair amount of heat to it. Others can prob paint you a better picture for you.

I picked up two bottles of the Brass Mug OWA barrel selection a couple days ago. Tasted it yesterday side-by-side with regular run OWA 107. The selection bottle was a little 'mellower', smoother, but not short on flavor. Actually had all that I normally find in OWA. Some find OWA a bit sharp; and against the selected bottle it did seem a bit sharper. The folks who did the selection did a very nice job. My description would be OWA Supreme, in that it gives away nothing to the regular stuff but is a bit better balanced, a little smoother, and just the barest hint more caramel. The finish is just a wee bit smoother and very slightly longer to me, too. No major departure from OWA, but what differences I found were all slight improvements.... VERY NICE!

2 bottles just showed up in Chicago. I was very pleased! Unfortunately I cleared 1/2 of one of the 2 bottles that came into my possession.
