Part of it may be Barton produces more white goods (gin, vodka, liqueur, cordials) than straight whisky. If their Canadian whisky brand, Black Velvet, is available there then the other brown goods may follow.

Yeah, it's counter intuitive to us but Barton has a lot more on it's plate than Bourbon.

Do they sell things at liquor stores besides bourbon and beer?

Supposedly HH is quitting production on the HH 8yr. I just purchased two 1 liter bottles tonight for 9.99 each. Wow, that is the least I have ever paid for a bourbon. I did sample it tonight and I actually like it, spicy, sweet and lots of alcohol taste. I believe this will be a nice mixer with coke, or club soda.
