barturtle
$16!!! As written by Robert Parker: Old Bardstown Black Label 90; 90 proof Believe it or not, this bourbon came close in taste, texture and smell to the more expensive, virtually impossible to find Pappy Van Winkle 20-Year Old Kentucky Bourbon. Wonderful rich, honeyed, caramel, toffee, maple syrup, wood spice, smoke and vanilla notes are found in this fullbodied, broad, rich, medium amber/tawny-colored bourbon. 94 points :slappin: Someone bring the Pappy and we'll do a blind comparison. squire
Amazing how much Evan Williams improves when you slap a different label on it.

Perhaps Parker already did that. It would explain not knowing the proof of the GTS or that Blanton's is a single barrel rather than the product of a masterful blend. We also notice that you properly posted your find on the Premium Bourbon/Speciaty Bottles board. Congratulations. Now, be careful not to divulge the source for your find or all of the lurkers will gobble them up before we get a fair shot at them.
