mosugoji64
Well, it sounds like you're suitably consoled! My closest story is having some guy at Costco bump the store's last bottle of EC18 out of my arm and onto the floor on Xmas eve. I had to just walk away from the carnage or I would have added to it!
jtgraves
My great dane's tail has destroyed more than one irreplaceable, limited edition beer, but never anything as special as that.
MacinJosh
Winston's dog is smart....he likes to drink the good stuff too! Seriously though, tragic.....I'd officially be on suicide watch. :-/

Yeti
Winston, I have two bottles of Barrel #18. Some of the finest whiskey I've ever had the pleasure.
MyOldKyDram
Maybe peeing is a two handed procedure for Winston. Bigger in TX and all that.

smknjoe
If it's that big then rest the bottle on top! That's what I do... ...if that were true he would have said "while I was in the bathroom the ladies and I heard a crash" ...

Tony
Damn, that is a bummer. I am curious if the dog tried a taste before heading down the hallway. Best regards, Tony
RWBadley
Ouch, reminds me of an ad years ago for I think Cutty Sark or some blended scotch. Picture of a broken bottle and Scotch whisky wetness, caption of "You Ever See a Grown Man Cry?"
timd
Tears are not enough....Don't worry - Winston will be soothed with other liquid refreshments.Perhaps a nice "Winston Sized" pour of V21 or the TPS Bowman Rye will soften the blow? I will let YOU pour* next time you are over...*Fairly confident I've just made a bigger mistake than Winston did with his bottle by saying that. Special Reserve
Life is short. Drink what you have today, don't wait for tomorrow.Damn you can say that again. Last week a work associate didn't feel well went to bed early to never wake up. He was 56. Your statement above makes me think. It's hard to accept when people you know that are younger than you pass away.
tigerlam92
Maybe I am stating the obvious, I have always found that the PVWFRR is extremely hard to get, actually the hardest to find out of the whole line. So it's especially sad to see this and hard to replace. This is why, when I am moving some of my bottles I have two hands on it. and super careful. Fortunately I'm thinking about a small dog.Pun intended? :grin:Seriously though, I feel for you man. I would be inconsolable if that happened to me. I wish I had a bottle of VWFRR because I would send you some from it.
WhiskyRI
rwbadley - I believe here's the ad you were referencing. I'm not sure I'd shed a tear for a bottle of crown royal but I'd be darn near inconsolable if something happened to my signed bottles of Pappy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CROWN-ROYAL-ad-magazine-advertisement-Canadian-Whisky-grown-man-cry/200923348131?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D8151054595647460322%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D380630514705%
