I was under the impression that ALL of the Louisville bottlings were supposed to be good but that's not what I've read about the 8yr.

I've had the 12yr. Frankfort before and it was good. Sort of a one note wonder of butterscotchy corn. Is the Louisville much different?

I am intrigued by this post bc I found some early-80s OC8 86-proof with tax stamps the other day. I love the OC10 and its cherry notes, but I don't know whether the 8-year is any good. Thoughts?

I am just old enough to have drank OC made in Louisville. It was great stuff to me. I still like OC, but I remember when it switched to BT, the taste was not as good.
