Today, in my spare time, I created a label for the famed SB Blend. Feel free to print and glue it to your bottle!

Nice ... but unfortunately, while I have no problem with an in-house label stating an average age, we do not know even the minimum age of OWA at this point. But maybe you intend the labels to be used only with dusty OWA. In that case it would be a "minimum" average, I reckon.

Thanks for the kind words. Although OWA has dropped the age statement, I have not noticed a drop in quality. To honor the concept behind blending these to approximate the stats of Centennial 10 year, I willfully and knowingly ignored the dropping of OWA's age statement.

That's awesome! Beats the hell out of my handwritten label.

As for the age, isn't it still part of the W.L. Weller & Sons mission statement to not bottle anything under 7 years old?

Thought I read that somewhere.

No. At least some barrels of WSR and OWA are dumped at under 7 years now.

That really is pretty neat. Good job! I also noticed that it says AVERAGE age (to all of those who were pointing the age out.) Even if OWA is 6yr now it averages out to 9yr total. Good enough for me.

Thanks OP! I've been marking my recycled bottles of W12 and OWA with sharpies to indicate which are holding the SB blend. This is a much more elegant solution and will make these bottles much easier to pick out.

I can't wait until people start posting bottle pics, then lurkers start asking liquor store employees if they carry Weller Centennial Tribute.

I promise to report back. I wonder how that conversation would go.

The only thing we can say for sure is that whatever problems it causes, Joe, they will be considered your fault.

I have made a tweak to correct a layout issue. Here are the new versions. If you used the old version you now have a dusty.

Nicely done sir! I, for one, don't give a sh!t about whether the label meets any standards - helluva lot prettier than my post-it note with two rubber bands around it  Although I will tweak the b/w version for my 60/40 blend ;)

I think the ETL bottle is the closest to the Centennial's Bottle shape. It might even be the same.
