Yep that was it, Ezra Brook 90, not near as bad as JBDC but doubt I'll buy another bottle.

PHC 2012; 131.6 cut to about 110. Wonderful. I'm not sure why I still have any of this left. Time to dedicate myself to this bottle's demise.

not bourbon.....a shot of a freshly made batch of home made lemoncello. for 35% alcohol, it sure packs a punch! I wanted to test it before breaking it out for the guests at tomorrows spicy chicken fry. when people ask whats in it, i think ill leave the 'everclear' part out....things will get interesting quickly!

Had a pour of the Bulleit 10 yr last night. Just the second pour I've had from this bottle, but I think I prefer it to the standard Bulleit. No notes, but it just seemed fuller than the standard which was a little on the thin side to me. Not sure which FR recipe this is, but it had a nice fruity mid-palate.

Did an 80 proof head-to-head comparison of Virginia Gentleman and JD Old No. 7. For my palate, the VG held its own at a much better price.

Squire, Being a noob my palate for being descriptive is not something I am comfortable with right now. It was just sorta flat. Now on the other this bottle of EWBIB is really good.

Ha, yes! Rye was well-represented last night with some real stunners, people brought some amazing bourbon too, most of which is not pictured. A big thanks to everyone that showed up, it was a good time.

HW Rendezvous Rye. Second bottle of this stuff after the first lasted about 2 days. I can't stop with this stuff. First whiskey since GTS that put me in a bit of a frenzy and I have no idea why.
