More Old Heaven Hill BiB (Gold Label) - I'm really enjoying this bourbon; it seems to really benefit from just a few drops of water. It is Bernheim (DSP-KY-1) and bottled at the old distillery (DSP-KY-31). The water really brings out the sweet caramel/vanilla but also brings out a nice round fruitiness on the mid-palate. Anyone know how old this bourbon is? I would assume for the price, 4 years and a few seconds, but for $10 this is such a great value. We don't get this back home and I'm traveling on business; think I'll pick up more before I head home.

probably 4 years. if youre still out of state, grab one of the white HH BIB's. its a 6 year and although quite similar, its got a bit less of the 'youngness' of the gold label. its about a buck more around here.

I was looking for one, but the only one I've seen is the white label NAS 80 pf version; not the BiB.

That's too bad, I just saw one sitting on the shelf locally here on Tue, from what I've read there may be more coming so maybe call around as it is starting to appear in GA.

Was trying to organize my bottles I came across a bottle of WR that had been open for who knows how long. For some reason it tastes much better than I remember.

After trying an early 80s Old Setter I needed to have another pour to please my palate... Decided to open a Colonel Lee BIB, this just reinforces my love for Barton products.. Candy corn happiness In a bottle

Having a pour of Noah's Mill...found a bottle in Colorado and brought it home. I enjoy it, not the best stuff I've ever had but good.

Barton hasn't dissapointed me yet.
I can't improve on that.

I would say 'disappointed' could be a modest improvement.

I'm drinking some OGD114. Been too long (like 2 weeks).

Some MM tonight from a 1L "slam dunk" bottle I acquired about 2 years ago. Until tonight it's purpose had been as a bookend.

Finished off a 2000 EWSB and immediately opened a EWSB 2001. Very interesting how the flavor profile was on different ends of the spectrum. I guess that's what happens when you pull 800+ single barrels for each vintage. Only knock I have is that I wish the proof was higher. Hard to go from a barrel proofer to this 86 in the same night.

Not drinking any of them yet, but packed up for the family reunion with an ECBP, Abe Bowman Millennium, W12, and ODG BIB. Should be some good drinking this weekend.

Very Old Barton 100 Proof, neat.

I'm sure that you could put the "Bottled In Bond" classification on this bottle because as far as what's missing on the label is a "same season" statement.

As much as they make/sell you know it's right there.
