Yes, I suppose so, but normally I don't kill a bottle inside a week - just so surprised lately how much I'm enjoying the "value" end of the spectrum. Friday night, so I think I'm going back for more ... it is unbelievably hot up here in the NE; but probably standard fare for our brethren in the South ... just ain't used to it up in these parts - and this OHH out of the 'fridge is really hitting the spot, with the AC on ...

I am with you buddy...hitting the old steadies tonight...Old Charter 10. 86 proof but with the heat outside it is kind of smoking me a little. I put a HH 6Year BIB White Label in the fridge for tomorrow.

PHC 2012; 131.6 cut to about 110. Wonderful. I'm not sure why I still have any of this left. Time to dedicate myself to this bottle's demise.

Haven't had that in a while. Good call. I'm gonna order one up, from myself

ogd 114 again....

one of these days, i will find one of these ECBP bottles you guys everywhere else seem to be finding. i even check the online stock at some local liquor stores almost daily, and theres never any. gaaah!

Started with some Bt, opened my first bottle of OWA to let it breath, had a couple pours of Weller SR and then tasted the OWA.

I love everything about Weller so far.

I bought my first bottle of WT101 last night. I like it. It has a lighter mouth feel then RB, and doesn't have the in your face rye spice of RB, but still a solid pour.

However, its $9 more then OE 101, and $13 more then HH BIB 6yr., so it probably won't be in regular rotation.

My patient and loving wife set up multiple blind tastings yesterday. One was a simple comparison of a WTKS smooth dark top from 2005, and the other was a vatting of a bunch of HH products. I think it was 60% FC103, with the rest being EWB and 4 of their BiBs. I could spot the Turkey due to its refinement, but it was darn close to the vatting in terms of flavor, richness, and overall enjoyment. The vatting costs about 1/4 of the WTKS, so I can say it was a very educational experience!

Swing by 4R Gift Shop today and missed out on the recent GS picks, all out of the barrel strength for next month or more. Next batch is the Q yeast, which let me tell you...they were excited about! I just kept nodding my head.

So, consoling myself with regular BMH, this HAS to be Beam product...taste is so distinct.
