2012 Four Roses LE Small Batch, thanks to another SB member who provided a generous sample. What I like best about this pour is that it's FR through and through, but on steroids. For me, it benefited with a touch of water. Here's to getting lucky and securing a bottle of the 2013 LE Small Batch...

Very nice...is that a 2006 WLW?

I don't think it gets much more premium than that. Nicely done!

Lat night I had to pours of EC12 in my new Glencarin glass (another fantastic suggestion from SB members) and then opened my first bottle ever of FR. I generally don't buy anything under 90 proof but this is smooth.

Thinking about some ancestors last night, so a small glass of slivovitz. The slivovitz bottle was behind the Mellow Corn, so I had a bit of that. Wrapped up with a pour of OGD BiB with a cube while discussing that most subtle of traps with DW... kitchen renovation.

Is it Friday yet?...hell yea!

I have 2 pours left of the FRSB LE '13 that I picked up during the Sampler weekend. Enjoying one right now.

I think I'm going to start off with a small pour of WSR from '95 and see where it goes from there.

That looks like a great lineup, Michael! Great bourbon and rye, and friends to drink with! Sounds like a great day to me, hope you had a good time.

Yes, it is.

Cloudy ice cube didn't melt that fast either.

Baker's. Recent purchase. I was surprised how good this was: clean, rich yet light-bodied, perfect with a dash of water. Complete absence of the "Beam funk" which I have long felt characterizes Beam-made bourbon for the last 20 years or so.

Found some inspiration in your post.

Had a couple mini pours of WLW 2010 and JPS18 with the old man, nice end to a long Friday. Looking forward to more serious tastings tomorrow :D

Tonight I'm enjoying a 1986 bottle of Elijah Craig 12.

Wow, just thinking back to 1986. I bet that is a great bottle of EC12.

Me, started with a small pour of VOB BIB....didn't really hit the spot. Moved on to a nice pour of OC10. Enjoying it more. It is funny how some nights some pours hit the spot while others don't.
