Bourbon Boiler
Started the evening with Towne Branch. Nothing special, but it's bourbon.
Yeti
How is that? I haven't opened mine yet.I hate it. I'm trying to get rid of it as fast as I can!Seriously though, it's distinctly FR, full bodied, and oddly spicy on the palate. I say "oddly" because a few members and I tasted this and the OBSO SBS and expected more spice from the (younger) high rye. It did have a spicier finish, but the E has more palate spice and thicker mouthfeel. Both could be indicative of the extra time in the wood. This OESO was a big hit at this past weekend's get-together with both experienced drinkers and newcomers alike.

ChainWhip
Love the OESO! You need a NAS/RAID5 solution J!
Yeti
I know, I know! I'm stop-gapping with RAID-1 for now. But I'll look into expanding into a 5 array.
NWBourbonDrinker
Started with Vodka but moved on to ECBP. Had a healthy pour and moved on to PHC12. Not sure what is next but I am sure it will be good!

Restaurant man
Mrssmokinjoe and littlesmokinjoe are out at the American Idol concert, so it's just me and the dog holding down the fort. Just finished a bone in ribeye on the grill and baked tater. Now, it's Braves on the radio, Perdomo 10th Anniversary, and a thick pour of OGD 114 in the glass. It's making for bliss...The pup is grinding away on that ribeye bone now, so she's lovin' life, too. .
c2walker
Just opened an Ezra Brooks 7/90 from 1979. This is one of the better dusties I've ever had. Complex, mature, and spicy...three descriptors that I rarely use for dusties. It has some similarities to vintage Wild Turkey. I'm loving this pour. rutterb
Had friends over last night. Started with VW Lot 'B', 17 yr Vintage, WLW. Both the Lot B and WLW were new bottles. The WLW was from 2006. Don't know what took me so long, but it tasted great. Ended the night going back with a small pour of Lot B.
