bingstein
Wedding tonight. Have the flask full of Old Ezra 7/101. There's a 99% chance it's open bar, but that 1% is scary. Better safe than sorry.

Better safe than sorry. It pays to be prepared. Even if there is an open bar there's a good chance what you have in the flask will be better than what's available. You must have been in the Boy Scouts. . I love that Old Ezra 7/101. I've thought about it several times during the open thrashing of Wild Turkey over the last week, or so...I've said many times, If you're unhappy with WT 101, try some of the OE 7/101. It's what Turkey used to be. I am continuing my assault this afternoon on a recently opened bottle of a GBS ETL. I can't see it making it past this evening...

TunnelTiger
TT, I think a better plan would be to hit the VOB while you're hanging the curtains. While you're fulfilling one honey-do with the curtains, she'll also be seeing you working to reduce that bottle inventory she commented on earlier...2 fer 1! Yep, one VOB Manhattan to pych myself up, one after every window completed an I'm in good graces again and the VOB Manhattan's are really hitting the spot! smokinjoe
In the garage listening to an absolutely crazy Braves/Nationals game on the radio with a 4R 40th. Ain't even through the 2nd yet, and we're 1:20 in, both starters gone, beanballs, 150 total pitches, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!!! I may switch to Tequila and Absinthe... Tonight is all about trying some new stuff I've picked up recently. Just finished up some Old Forester Signature, so I'll do some OE 7/101 next, then the Old Fitz 1849. If I'm still upright after that, I'll find something else with Old in the name.
