Had a crappy day. First pour was Jefferson's Rye. Then I moved on to 2012 OF BB. After that was a healthy pour of FR 2013 LE SB.

Larceny and PHC blend of mashbills.

Hmmm. I have both of those open at the moment. Nice segue from wheater to four grain. Sounds like a plan.

My brother-in-law is visiting and I got home almost on time, so before going out for dinner we had cocktails at home.

Manhattans with Pappy 15, Carpano Antica, Averna Amaro, Regan's Orange Bitters, Luxardo cherries

Following up two disappointing pours for the VBT with a 7 year TPS Old Scout. A very flawed, but still enjoyable, whiskey.

id been curious about trying this for a while....

OGD 114 with a few drops of real maple syrup added (not maple flavored corn syrup, but the real stuff).

interesting.....not better, not worse, just a bit different.

Had a very nice evening with some WSR 7yr with ginger ale while manning the grill followed by HH Gold BIB, CEHT Tornado, and OWA 7yr. Can't complain ...

Little 2012 small batch 4 roses. Then a little more. Then a big pour :)

Opened my first Ezra Brooks 90 proof, and really wondering why it took me this long. Thicker and sweeter than I expected!

Sipping some OWA barrel #35 from TPS

Had a small pour of the same last night sbs w W12 in Glencairn glasses. Enjoyed both but the 12 was a little thin and the 107 a tad hot so I did what any good SBer would do and dumped them together. Whole>sum of parts.

Dammit this 2013 FR SB is disappearing fast. I can't stay out of it.

Woodford Double Oaked.

Solid! We were close tonight. I started with Ritt BIB and then a nice pour of WR.

Still warming up to my first bottle of WLW (2012). I lined up a side by side of PVW15 and WLW that had been sitting in the glass for an hour. The WLW totally blew the PVW out of the water.

I'm gonna have to try this test. Got a few bottles of each :)

Some Weller SR tonight - hits the spot - my first bourbon in quite a while. This is the newer style bottle, but still with an age statement. I don't know how long this bottle has been open, two years???, but it tastes nice tonight.
