I know Beaumont and Hamburg had it last week.

Damn. Egg on my face. Thanks for the heads up. Those are the 2 I got to least.

Versailles Rd had it too. Usually if you're at one and they don't have something, just ask and theyll check around for you.

A TPS Old Scout 7 year that was a little lackluster on its own is making a cracker of a manhattan.

Finishing off the evening with what has been my current go-to bourbon for the last several months--Larceny.

Started off with a 4RSB that I poured last night but didn't finish so my wife put the cover on and placed back on the bar. That's right my glasses have covers. Big whoop, wanna fight about it? Anywho, followed it up with a Pendelton 1910 Rye. At 80 proof this is actually quite refreshing when it's hot and muggy out. Closed out with a WSR.

Last night was all EC12. Very enjoyable while catching up on the last two episodes of "The Bridge".

Now the way my Monday has started tonight is going to require something in excess of 100 proof.

Put some Benchmark in the coffee this morning simply because the bottle happened to be within reach.

I really like that Pendleton 1910 rye as an easy drinking "summer" rye but it doesn't seem to get much love around here or in the rye thread.

I haven't had a pour in almost a week. Long story. I'm pretty much good to go now though. After a pretty decent day at work, I came home and had a nice healthy pour of Weller 12. To quote an old line from Saturday Night Live, "Yeah. That's the ticket." Cheers! Joe

Some OGD BIB with dinner. Just the right amount of funk to offset ravioli.

Wow. That is a bold combination...

I'm really settling in to liking the OGD alongside stronger foods. Spinach ravioli needed the sharp kick.

Just poured some ORVW 10/107, watching Bizarre Foods. I think they will feature some Ky Bourbon products at 9 PM tonight, might be interesting!
