smokinjoe
I sit here in the RDU airport pondering the heresy I am about to commit:Jack Daniel's downed in the Delta Sky Club... Maker's Mark downed at the bar across from my gate... Woodford Reserve to be had on the plane... Forgive me, Bourbon Brothers for I have, and am about to, sin in the eyes of The Board...But, I freely admit that I drink The Unspeakable-Unholy-Trifecta of my own free will and with neither shame, nor remorse... Did this really have to be Flight # 1666?? Really???? As it so happened, there was an intercession to prevent the consummation of my folly. Turbulent weather between Raleigh-Durham and Atlanta prevented the flight attendants from bringing out the cart---so, no Woodford on flight 1666. (Insert eerie Twilight Zone music here). OK, which one of y'all was lookin' out for me? So, promptly upon arriving home, I poured myself a quick Thank You Pour of Angel's Envy Rye, and immediately followed that up with the namesake bourbon of one of Heaven's newest Angels---ETL. BFerguson
Started with some AAA, then moved to something a bit older, Binny's Willet 21yr. The 21yr is a superb bottle. B

MJB
I'm really digging all these Barrel Proof releases.I'm drinking some Stagg Jr. right now and while I may not like it as much as the ECBP its still good bourbon.

393foureyedfox
some Charter 101 and Fighting Cock as i study health care laws.......i originally thought the FC the better of the two but now i am not so sure. i must admit there is something about the HH standard house profile that is not the best........and while FC is definitely the best HH stuff ive tried (cant find any ECBP........), it still has it toothey are both WELL worth their 15-$17 prices though

compliance
WT Tradition may not be great value, but it's damn good bourbon. Opened up my bottle tonight and I think this one is unfairly maligned. It's quite good!
HighInTheMtns
Old Forester Signature for me tonight. I enjoy it every time I pour it, one of the best values available locally.

kcgumbohead
Finishing a 4RSB that had a mild black licorice finish which in the last 1/3 of the bottle has been joined and superseded by a dark chocolate or cocoa powder kinda thing. This takes a bottle I really liked and pushed it into bottle I love territory. I don't know if its air time, palate maturation or a combination what alls I know is, I LIKE IT!! luther.r
Maligned? I really appreciate WT, there is a house flavor that is unlike anything else. I enjoy the 101 when travelling but at home when I need to scratch that WT itch its Rare Breed. The flavor is HUGE and deep and delicious. Whats the hit on WT tradition?
