kcgumbohead
Had some OGD114 for the first time after dinner last night. Sweet, spicy, I liked it. The pour was from a bottle that was about 1/2 full so it had plenty of air time. No Beam funk that I could detect (thankfully). A good solid enjoyable bourbon. jtexaslonestar
After an amazing dinner from the garden(collard greens, cucumber salad, pickled jalapenos, sliced tomato), save the Publix rotisserie chicken, it is time to relax with a glass of Tom Moore BIB, Barton. I love the many possibilities that follow this current one. :drinking:
KySalesRep
Moved on to try my own "Bourye"; mixed WTR101 with FRSB OESO gift shop. Got a blend of creaminess and fruit from the OESO and some added rye spice from the WTR101. Pretty good stuff.

bingstein
Continued my recent trend of opening all my stuff (no I wasn't diagnosed with a terminal illness). Opened a WT Old No 8 from 97 and made my wife pour me a blind test with WT8. I only have like 75ml of WT8 left so I was hoping the Old No 8 would come close. It was tasty but I easily picked out the WT8. Still not a bad consolation prize. Now I just need to find more WT8.
snifred
All the talk of home blending lately got me to try adding a bit of FRSmB to FRSB. Delicious.

393foureyedfox
About 2 oz of Old Forester to watch Breaking Bad tonight.that show deserves a much better drink than old forester!im gonna relax and have some Charter 101 again, hoping to relax enough to sleep. Nursing school starts up again tomorrow and we already have a test on the first day. i feel like a derby horse right before the gate opens...for $17, im really liking this charter 101. cant say i expected much, i just wanted to try a cheap BT product at 100+ proof. it's been a pleasant surprise! i have to put it at the top of the sub $20 stuff to me right now. it in no way compares to the Bookers i had at dinner last night, but that shot of Bookers cost almost as much as the bottle of Charter....eh, if i drank Bookers every day, it would lose its specialness to me. JPBoston
that show deserves a much better drink than old forester! Now, now... remember what you said about how the kind people at this site don't judge others' tastes too harshly. I'm not the biggest Old Forrester fan myself, but it's a legit brand that garners a lot of respect. I also had a pour while watching BB --- good ol' EWB.
