Eagle Rare 90/GTS Vatting?

I know it has been mentioned a number of times on SB that ER101 is the functional equivalent to a Baby Stagg (and other talk about an actual Stagg Jr. being released sometime down the road). So my question is whether anyone has actually done a vatting (or even a single-drink mixing) of the current Eagle Rare 90 and GTS. I would be hesitant to use valuable GTS juice, but I would be intrigued to see how this is. If someone has done this and yielded good or bad results, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

If you have some open why not try it? I don't own a Stagg but if I did I wouldn't hesitate to try it.

I think i might give it a whirl. I apologize in advance if my review of my vatting is not too informative. My descriptions range from "wow!" to "gross," without many flowery descriptions in between. But alas, I shall try.

I've never vatted GTS, however I have cut it down to 101 proof. It is amazingly similar to ER 101. Extremely drinkable IMHO.

That's the way to go with tasting notes, keep it simple!

Thats definitely the way I usually prefer to drink it. But I also like the unique mixings a I've seen posted on the site and wondered if anyone had tried this particular one before now.
