I think the best way to decide if it's worth $40 is to blind taste it against others in that price range.

BMH NAS neat

Its certainly better after being opened a few days and letting it breathe.

Its better but still not a $50+ bottle. Ill try and get motivated to do some tasting notes tomorrow. Its to late tonight.

I know everyone's palate is different. However, based on taste, the NAS component, and the NDP component, I have to say that I think Black Maple Hill is the most overrated and overpriced bourbon in the market. I paid $31.99 for my bottle and I don't think I would pay $14.99 for another one. It just isn't good.

Agreed, I have $9.99 bottles that are better than the $41.99 I paid for this but that being said I'm glad some like cause the folks at BMH gotta make a living too.
