Wow. I didn't know there was a controversy as to whether or not BMH16 was distilled.

Learn something new every day.

Wow, just wow. I mean i understand you can write an entire story with Google, but when it says IRISH WHISKEY in giant letters on the bottle.

This article should be a total embarrassment to the author. Unfortunately, the author probably doesn't have a clue. I've noticed all kinds of mistakes like these. The WSJ had an article about bourbon, listed Willett Pot Still but had a picture of Blanton's. This idiot Quinn Myers for Maxim stated that Pappy Von Winkle was very good bourbon. Who is that? Pappy's German Cousin? Anyway, Happy Fourth if July folks!! Lets all celebrate with a pour of our favorite bourbon.

Something is wrong here. I should have known better than to take my time to read it. :)

This is probably my favorite thing I've read in a long time. I couldn't write like this if I tried. That's the genius of it I think.

That wasn't an article. Hey, did someone just distract me so they could steal my bottles?

Sorry for the post, but I couldn't help myself :-)

The author also writes that the AH Hirsch 16 prices ae going down. I reckon if you wait a few weeks it will get discounte at 25$ a bottle :-)

What is that first one listed? I haven't ever heard of that. Jack Daniels Fine Oak Macallan 1926.

My friend has a big JD bottle collection. Will have to see if he has the Macallan 1926 edition!

"That's not writing, that's typing." Truman Capote

Back when desk-top computers were first introduced, a union secretary filed a grievance against me for typing. She felt that I should continue writing in pencil so she could type and then I could revise in pencil and she could type and I could revise etc., etc.

Soon secretaries discovered that they could use PCs for all sorts of fun things--most of which involved using 167 different fonts in 17 different colors. Who needed a graphic designer any more?
