Bandg
I live in Al and this product (Virgin 7yr 101) is available. My research tells me that it is a Heaven Hill product available in some regions. Imho, it is a fantastic value and basically equivalent to HH 6yr BIB. Am I missing anything? The regular HH BIB is not on our shelves. TIA, Bradley

Bandg
Since I have no access to OGD BIB or VOB BIB, Virgin will have to do.
suntour
I wonder how this compares to 7yo Old Ezra 101.
squire
How does the price compare to Ezra.
Bandg
It is ~$12 for 750ml bottle.
GaryT
7 yr, 101 proof from HH for $12 - that all sounds pretty good to me (although never heard of or tried before). Is this one of these with very narrow distribution?
squire
More like mystery distribution.

Is this one of these with very narrow distribution?Alabama and Kansas, primarily, possibly also in North Carolina. One of the HH export brands. I'd bet Joe's got a bottle or three. soad
Alabama and Kansas, primarily, possibly also in North Carolina. I can confirm North Carolina. Bought a few from the ABC stores over the years.

Flyfish
We are still Virgin virgins in OH and likely to maintain our virtue thanks to state fathers who all own shotguns.
Ejmharris
I was n Gulf Shores Alabama this last week for vacation. I have wanted to try some of this for some time after other posts on here historically. Picked up two bottles at th ABC stores Thursday and by Saturday one was mostly gone. 7 year aged stated 101 bourbon for $11.99 is ok in my book. It wasn't overly complex but for that price I wasn't expecting to be. It was still very good whiskey and one I will buy several more of when I next visit my brother in-law in Huntsville. ethangsmith
If it's anything like the Old Ezra 7/101, it's going to be a super bourbon.
B.B. Babington
Virginia has it, but not widely distributed in the state.
Halifax
NC is awash with it. Around $11 here. It closely resembles the Elijah Craig 12 profile IMO.
