Anyone going to the Kentucky Bourbon Festival.....

Hi All,

First time poster, but part time lurker.

After 8 years of promising myself, I'm off to the festival tomorrow morning. I've been a bourbon drinker/collector since the late 80s. Not as easy as it sounds as I'm from London, England!

This is the first time me (or my better half) have been to Kentucky, so we are planning on making the most of it. We've signed up for all the evening events, and plan on taking in as much daytime activity as we possiblbly can!

We are staying in Bardstown, and I'm meeting a friend from Washington State for the first couple of days, but I'd be really interested in hearing of anyone else that will be there.

All a bit 11th hour I know, but we were not 100% sure we actually be able to go! We are cathing a flight at 12 tomorrow afternoon.

So if anyone is going and they can recommend anywhere to go, people to see, places to meet, bourbon to drink... please do let me know.
