Looks like Willett sent a new batch of family reserve out today - sadly, none to Georgia:

[h=2]California[/h] Willett Family Estate Bourbon

Willett Family Estate Rye

[h=2]Idaho[/h] Willett Family Estate Rye

[h=2]Arizona[/h] Willett Family Estate Rye

[h=2]Missouri[/h] Willett Family Estate Rye

[h=2]Philedelphia[/h] Willett Family Estate Bourbon

Anyone know the ages in these bourbons and ryes? Is it the 4 year rye that's already been distributed?

They have two distributors in Georgia (Savannah Distributing, who handles the Family Reserve Rye and Bourbon). I haven't seen much WFE Bourbon, but I see the young ryes (mostly 4 yr) at several shops in my neck of the woods. My guess is their PR was about getting into new markets for the first time with those labels (although that's just a guess).

I figured that might be the case, but then I thought surely California would have already seen the 4yr rye/6yr bourbon that we've had. I don't know for sure, though

Willett is not new to California. K&L has done some Willett bottlings, for one.

Strange - guess their press release was just to get some press :lol: I'm still waiting to taste THEIR bourbons and ryes in a few more years (maybe 3 more years on the ryes?)

Im guessing a distributor did some bourbon selections for release in those states. That is what indiana does.
