Is Four Roses distilling now?

I know most distilleries used to take the summer off, but I thought I'd ask. A friend is driving by L'burg next week and I want to let them know.

Wasn't going to mention the gift shop, I will only pour so much gas on someone's acquisition fire.

I stopped by the gift shop last Friday en route to Danville. Though I didn't take a tour, they were most certainly going on as I saw a group being led by a tour guide around the facilities.

True, but the site of a full fermenting tank (or 8 of them as I remember them having at FR) is a joy to behold.

I'll second that!

We stopped by there last month to see the "new" visitor center and gift shop ... the yeast was active and happy.

Stopped in over the 4th of July. Took the tour or I should say partial tour as no distilling was going on they were on summer shut down. Now I'll just have to go back .

I was there July 7th and the distillery was shut down for the summer. They were still giving partial tours.

I stopped by the distillery Tuesday last week (8/6) on my drive across the country. The distilling resumes at midnight on 9/5. (I hope I remembered the date correctly, but it was definitely in the first week of Sept.)
