Balcones Winston
Chip and I will be in NYC on around the 7th-12th next month, looking for recommendations for places to go. Interested in establishments with great whiskey selections, preferably Balcones
jpb
Maysville and Blue Smoke have a good selection. Five Napkin Burger has an ok selection. Brandy Library is very extensive although doesn't really serve meals. I've never been but people say good things about Idle Hands and Char No 4 (Brooklyn), but I think they are just bars, not restaurants. Then a fair amount of the expensive restaurants have solid whiskey menus (Eleven Madison Park, the Collichio restaurants, a lot of the steakhouses, etc). michaelturtle1
They don't have a good whiskey menu but I just had a really good dinner at the Pig and Khao
sailor22
Keens Chop house is worth a visit. It's Scotch centric but one on NYC's oldest steak houses with a decent bar.

ChicagoFlyer
Maysville and Rye House are my regular haunts when I'm in town. Rye House has a nice 4R single barrel that is just delicious. Maysville is just a very chill bar with a great selection and reasonable prices for Manhattan.
ors0
Char No. 4 has a great selection and a full food menu. I've had the hanger steak which was quite delicious. They have some export bottles that we don't usually have access to but charge a ton of money -- $100 for 1 ounce if I remember correctly. My next spot in NYC that I plan on going to if Flatiron Room because they actually serve mint juleps in julep cups. I haven,t been to a place yet that actually does this. Ejmharris
I second the Maysville recommendation and will throw in Blue Smoke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
SmoothAmbler
I've eaten dinner with Chip at Char No. 4 in Brooklyn and know they carry Balcones. Keens might have the best damn hamburger I've ever had. They are Scotch centric and that makes me think your malt whiskey might do well there. Idle Hands is a bar but would love the Balcones stuff. Like these other folks, Maysville would surely be on my list to stop by.
