suntour
Honestly though I have a pretty respectable breadth of tasting. Jim Beam White was mentioned earlier and that was one I did have to actually force myself to sit down and do. My initial impressions were correct...it is rough stuff. ramblinman
Honestly I'm not sure theres any I'm ashamed of not trying. Having only been "serious" about bourbon the last year or so I've tried a heck of a lot of things and worked my way through quite a bit of the lower/middle shelf that I can get without hunting hard.Maybe FRSmb, I've always got a bottle (or two) of FRSB open and FRYL is a staple around our tailgate in the fall, but I've always skipped over the small batch version for some reason. Nillion
I don't know if I'd say ashamed, but I have never tried any of the BTAC or Pappy's. I'd really like to, but honestly I don't have the $$$ or the dedication or the ability to suck up to store owners to attempt to get a taste. And at this rate I suspect it'll stay that way. Though you often want most what you cannot have...I've tried PVW15 and GTS, but I suspect I'll be in the same boat as you as far as ever owning a bottle. Unless I find one languishing on the shelves at some point, I just don't care enough to get myself worked up over whiskey to go through the hassle of tracking down a bottle. As far as my own whiskey shortcomings, I've never tried Jim Beam white or black. I can't say I'm ashamed of this fact though.
hn4bourbon
As much as I like FR products, I can't believe i haven't tried the FRYL yet. I'll have to go get a bottle.

bourbonfoot
Ashamed isn't the right word, but at the top of my list of bottles to taste next are Weller 12 and any non-standard FR product. We don't get anything except the standard around here, and the only other thing I've seen in stores is the Secretariat (standard barrel pick right?). Never had any of the BTAC bottles, but hopefully I signed up early enough to get one this year via ABC.On the value side I've never had AAA10yr, FC103, OGDBIB. The 10 yr can't be had around here, but the FC and OGD can. I guess seeing them in such great demand hasn't put me in a rush to get them.
Bourbon Boiler
Any of the 4R SBs. I'd love to analyze them recipe by recipe, but there are too many open bottles on the shelf to justify any purchasing for a while.

PaulO
I wouldn't say ashamed, because I seldom get the chance, but I've never tried any of the Four Roses single barrels except the standard version OBSV. I guess I have 9 more to go. The problem is stores that have FR private selections tend to have lots of other nice things. The price is also a bit more than I'm used to. I do splurge once in a while. GaryT
Great thread idea! What comes to my mind is Henry McKenna. I've tasted from a couple different Henry McKenna Single Barrel BIB and loved every one (but don't own one yet), but I've never bought plain ol' Henry McKenna (and it's like $13, so I need to get off my ass, eh!) Clavius
I'm ashamed I've never tried regular ol' Evan Williams black label. Numerous people have told me it's pretty decent for the money. Just haven't ever gotten around to buying it...
WAINWRIGHT
Any of the other HH offerings other than the 6yr.BIB and the Black and Gold label BIB.I feel I might be missing out on some decent value pours such as the Green label 90 proofer, who knows? DBM
I have never tried a single Wild Turkey product. Ever. I started liking so many other bourbons that I haven't tried to add WT to my purchasing habits. I always look at the bottle of Rare Breed when at the store, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Maybe tomorrow.

It's a great dram at a relative bargain price. A fine example of what can still be done at Beam, if they don't screw too much with the recipe. High Rye, and tho not quite what it once was, is still worth keeping around...(IMHO).
DPPSmoker
I still haven't tried Four Roses Yellow Label or Small Batch yet. Every time I go to the store with the intention of getting one of these, I end up grabbing the FRSB instead. I promise not to do that again. bjhowell
Never tried AAA 10. It's not available in FL but going to KY in October and hope to pick one up. Also never tried 4 Roses Yellow Label which is funny considering all the other 4 Roses I have tried.
Flyfish
Arguably all HH offerings under 10 years of age are value pours. We are on our way home from a fishing expedition in Wyoming where the small town bourbon selection leaves a lot to be desired. Tried Ezra Brooks 90 for the first time at $18.46 for 1.75. I'm a long time fan of Old Ezra 101. It's only $14 in OH so I never saw a need to go to an even lower shelf. Must say we were pleasantly surprised even taken neat. Assuming that EB90 is HH juice, here's yet another example of their value pour credentials. We like the EB better than Evan Williams Black and it is $3 less. Go figure. Any other EB fans out in SB land?
