Missouri isn't a control state and we seem to have a pretty good selection here, but I'm wondering if there are some bourbons and ryes that aren't distributed here that I should be on the lookout for when traveling. Specifically, I'm heading over to Indiana tomorrow and more importantly will be going through KY to TN in a couple of weeks.

If you stop in at The Party Source in northern Kentucky across the Ohio River from Cincinnati or any of the Liquor Barns in Louisville or Lexington, you'll get a quick view of just about everything that is available.

If you haven't had a VOB BiB, I highly recommend you get one. In fact the investment is so reasonable, I'd say pick up 3 ... or 6. Yeah, 12 should do it.

VOB BIB is actually the one I was thinking about. I haven't seen it around here and have read a lot of good things about it on SB.

We'll be cutting through western KY on the way to Nashville. Is there a "best" place to go in the Paducah area?

Heaven Hill Old Style 6yo is a must try. White label with green script. About $11 a fifth. Get 3.

You'll wish you got 6!

Get six. You won't regret it and you might well end up very glad you did.
