...I have some issues with Scotch, but IMO the stuff tastes way better than bourbon...

All this Lagavulin talk made me thirsty. I have an unopened 16 that has been sitting around for a few years that I may pop. I also have another couple old DEs hanging around somewhere too and I have about one drink left in my current 1995. I feel the urge to bunker more Lagavulin.

Glenmo Ealanta. Malty sweet, bourbony, oaky. I like it.

Yep. It's unlike other things, but so tasty and dangerously easy to drink.

They were dead in the US for a while, sort of. There are a couple of dead distilleries that produced wheaters. And probably a few that produced rye (I don't keep up with the rye world so much.) Surprise us.

In keeping with the dead distilleries theme, I'm enjoying a small pour of:

Having a small pour of Yamazaki 12 year. And I made an attempt to take a bottle porn shot ala chainwhip...

Thx for sharing - I personally like seeing people post pics of bottles & pours.

I just killed a bottle of Laga Distiller's Edition 1995 which was so good. I guess it's time to see if I can hunt down another sherried Lagavulin.
